Special Populations
Life is hard. No matter who you are, you have likely experienced some challenges and hardships. But just as all people are different and have different backgrounds, so have the challenges they face.
It is well known that regular exercise is one of the most important things you can do for your health. But what if you have special challenges that make exercising harder for you? Maybe you have suffered a permanent change in your physical abilities that has made exercising difficult. This could be neurological, respiratory, an old injury or surgery, or even something like the loss of a limb.
If you have a very unique situation, a typical exercise program may not work for you. Shouldn’t your exercise program be as unique as you are?
What you need to get started is a trainer with experience with modifying exercises to special populations. Your personal trainer is a licensed physical therapist/PTA with years of experience making custom exercise programs for people with diverse conditions like multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, chronic back pain, partial spinal cord injury, knee/shoulder/hip replacements, and even amputations with advanced prosthetic training!
If you have different abilities that don’t allow you to perform a cookie cutter exercise program, maybe it’s time to let an expert empower you to be a stronger, healthier version of yourself.
