Muscle and Joint Pain

Pain happens to everybody. Most of the time it doesn’t limit your physical abilities, and it frequently goes away. Sometimes it doesn’t.

You could go with medication which is certainly needed sometimes, but when the cause of pain is not addressed that may just mask the pain.

The way you stand, walk, lift objects, sit and perform other movements all can cause pain if they are not working in sync with the rest of you. There is a profession whose job is to assess all of these activities.

Physical therapists are trained to listen to your story, study how you move, and perform physical tests to determine the cause of your pain and an effective treatment for it. PTs also have a multitude of tools at our disposal to allow you to move more freely, like manual therapy, joint mobilizations, taping, orthotic/footwear advice, stretching and more!

Once your pain is under control, we then pass the baton to you, making sure you have the knowledge and the tools you need to return to your activities and help prevent the pain from returning again.
